Provider FAQ
Why should I apply to join the National Homecare Network?
The National Homecare Network program is one of the most cost-effective ways for home care providers to market their products and services. Local home care providers face unique challenges in their marketing and advertising efforts as they search for profitable vehicles to identify and reach people "in need." TV, radio, and print ads typically are very costly with an average cost per lead ranging from $100 to $1,000; direct mail and e-mail have also become less effective as more people ignore these overused vehicles; and telemarketing has been radically affected by the new "Do Not Call" lists. With the internet becoming one of the best tools for consumers in search of home care services, providers need to identify marketing smart strategies that allow them to tap into this growing opportunity. The problem is that internet advertising programs tend to be very cost prohibitive. Providers end up paying a very high cost per lead, and spend too much time and money qualifying the prospects that they do get. That's where The National Homecare Network comes in - by outsourcing some of your marketing efforts to us, you immediately increase your return-on-investment (ROI) because you pay nothing for qualified leads, and only pay us when you bring in new customers. This allows you to focus on sales, while we bring you qualified prospects with no upfront costs. As your online marketing partner, it's in our best interest to do whatever it takes to bring you the most qualified prospects in your area. We are investing in your success.
Who Pays for the Service?
The National Homecare Network is an internet-based provider network which is free to consumers. Participating network providers pay The National Homecare Network a set marketing fee for each new patient they acquire from National Homecare Network referrals.
How much will I have to pay?
The National Homecare Network charges participating network providers a set marketing fee which is a percentage of ongoing care revenues being provided to customers. These marketing fees are collected on a monthly basis through updated provider care plans submitted to The National Homecare Network. These marketing fees range from 8%-12% depending on the type of care being provided.
How many leads will each provider receive per month?
The number of leads that a provider will receive is dependent upon many variables, including but not limited to the type of provider, service area covered, and payment arrangements accepted. The National Homecare Network receives thousands of homecare requests each month from across the United States and Canada. Since we do limit the number of qualified network providers within each market, you will receive as many pre-qualified leads as possible. The best part is all of your incoming leads are FREE.
How many network providers receive each lead?
Any particular homecare request will be referred to up to 3 local network providers within the applicable service area. The National Homecare Network does set in home interviews for each network provider. Each network provider will then follow up with the customer to confirm their in home interview schedule.
If I am a Medicare or Medicaid provider can I participate in the program?
Yes, as long as you also provide services to private pay customers, as almost all referral leads will be for private pay home care services.
Do I have to offer a discount or special rate to customer leads I receive from National Homecare Network?
No. In fact, we prohibit providers from making special offers. Our contract requires that Participating Providers charge National Homecare Network customers in accordance with the provider's usual and customary fee structure and pricing methods.
Does it cost anything to apply to join?
No
Does a network Provider have to sign a contract to participate?
Each participating provider is required to accept the terms of National Homecare Network's standard Provider Agreement. The terms of the contract are the same for all providers. The marketing to be paid are based on a standard fee schedule and methodology, so that no provider is disadvantaged. The National Homecare Network does not negotiate individual contracts.
